1.      Axis Bank, India's third largest private bank, has tied up with Earthport Plc, a cross-border payment network, to enable faster outbound cross-border payments for its customers through Earthport’s state-of-the-art global payments network.
2.      The Billiards and Snoooker Federation of India (BSFI) has announced that  India will host the World Billiards Championship for the next four years.
3.      A Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among Ministry of Tourism, public sector construction companies NPCC and NBCC and Government of J&K for implementation of two tourism projects in the state. The two projects sanctioned are - Integrated Development of Tourist facilities at Gulmarg – Baramulla – Kupwara – Leh  to NBCC and Integrated development of tourist facilities at Mantalai – Sudhmahadev – Patnitop in Jammu and Kashmir to NPCC.

4.      Union Health Ministry launched the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign with an aim to unroot Rubella and Measles from India, The target is to vaccinate 4 crore children across the country. The campaign will  be launched  first  in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Goa and Lakshadweep, broad up  nearly 3.6 crore target children.
