Earth is our home. Scientists believe that the world and its moon were formed during the remainder of the system which was about 4.5 billion years ago. Earth is the fifth largest planet within the system. Its diameter is about 8,000 miles. Earth is the third closest planet to the Sun. the typical distance from the Sun is about 93 million miles. Mercury and Venus are only approximate.
Earth is named “Goldilocks Planet”. Within the story “Goldilocks and therefore the Three Bears”, the small girl named Goldilocks liked everything. His bed can’t be very hard or soft. On earth, everything is ok for all times. It is hot, but not too hot. There’s water in it, but there’s not much water.
Earth is that the only planet that features a great deal of liquid water. Liquid water is important for all times. Earth is the only planet where life exists.
From outer space, the Earth looks like white marble and blue marble of gray, yellow, green and white color. Bluewater is water that covers 71% of the Earth’s surface. White whirlpools are clouds. The land is brown, yellow, and green. The white areas are snow and ice.
The equator is an imaginary circle that divides the Earth into two parts. The northern half is called the Northern Hemisphere. The southern half is called the Southern Hemisphere. The north pole of the Earth is called the North Pole.
Every year on 22 April, Earth Day celebrates the birth anniversary of the modern environmental movement of the 1970s.
