How difficult is it to become a CA?

How difficult is it to become a CA

How difficult is it to become a CA?

Several factors make becoming a certified chartered accountant (CA) challenging:

Course content: Each exam's course content is extensive, so you can only imagine how extensive it must be when all three levels are combined. Having said that, the subject demands a thorough understanding rather than merely ratta-fication. Economics, mathematics, law, general management, and statistics are examples of disciplines that must be well studied and practised if a candidate is to ace them.

Language:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) welcomes students from various backgrounds. However, the exams get conducted in English, and the course content is also available in the same language. So it is only natural that some aspirants face problems preparing in English as not everyone comes from privileged schools.
It becomes difficult for those who learn in Hindi and take their examinations in English.

Too many coaching classes: Because the CA certification is so popular, there are a plethora of coaching classes to select from. Each coaching class has its unique teaching style and takes a different approach to the curriculum than the others. The majority of competent accountants participate in coaching programmes tailored to their learning styles and recommend them to CA candidates. Candidates must understand, however, that they should enrol in coaching classes that best suit their needs.

After passing the CA Intermediate tests, candidates must complete a three-year on-the-job training programme under the supervision of practising CAs or CA businesses. The goal of this articleship is for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and to face the obstacles that come with working in the accounting field.
This does, however, imply that candidates must study for their CA Final test while finishing their articleship. Candidates may not have enough time to study for the course if training is too intense
