Position of Adjectives:-
When an adjective is used to describe a noun, it is normally placed before the noun.
Example: a poor man, a new design.
But at times an adjective may be placed after the noun as well.
Example: That design is new, the man is poor
  1. Adjectives of Quality-Adjective of quality describe the quality of a person or thing. It also describes what kind of noun it is.
Example:-She told a funny story, Indira Gandhi was a popular leader.
  1. Adjective of Quantity- An adjective of quantity specifies the quantity of a thing.
Example:-We need some water also. It is used with an uncountable noun.
  1. Adjective of Number- An adjective of the number tells how many persons or things are meant.
Example:- He can speak several languages. It is used with a countable noun.

Definition: Adjective is a word used to add something to the meaning of a noun. An adjective is a describing word. Adjectives are the words like tall, intelligent, rich, polite, and sincere lazy, honest and good describe the qualities of noun.
Example: -A Lazy girl, An Intelligent men, A good boy, An honest boy.
Let us look few more expressions: some food, two girls, which building, my father. In the above expressions, the words – some, two, which, my, are adjectives.
When we use adjectives with a noun, they make the nouns precise. They also make the language beautiful.
