What are important facts about Indian Currency?

After Demonetization, new currency notes were introduced in India:
  • Two thousand rupees & five hundred rupees notes were introduced at the time of demonetization in November, 2016.
  • Two hundred rupees notes & fifty rupees notes were introduced after some time in August, 2017.
  • Ten rupees notes were introduced in January 2018.
Let us first look at the history of demonetization in India briefly:

  • First time it was done on 12th January 1946
  • Second time on 16th January 1978
  • & recently third time it was done on 8 November 2016

Bhakti Movement NCERT Class 12 History The Bhakti movement was an effort to achieve salvation and emancipation by devotion to God. In Hindi, the word bhakti refers to fervent devotion to God.
