Pronouns enable us to speak clearly, with fewer awkward words, and in whole sentences. They avoid using proper nouns repeatedly, allowing for fluid and easy speaking. Pronouns frequently refer to a noun that is used in the sentence, but they must match the noun's number, point of view, and gender.

There are primarily four types of pronouns:

  • Possessive pronouns
  • Interrogative pronouns
  • Personal pronouns
  • Reflexive pronouns
