BODMAS rule is applicable in our day to day life for calculation and accounting purpose. In India we use BODMAS and in the USA we use PEDMAS (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and subtraction)
BODMAS
It is the sequence which is used for solving mathematical equations and formulas. It is referred to as an order of mathematical operation. This rule is applied in the operation where more than one formula is used.
Mathematical operation refers to the addition, subtraction division etc.
