DEONTOLOGICAL THEORY

This theory judged the man on the basis of his action as ethical or unethical. As a human being, we possess certain capacity and capability of rationality compared to animals. Morality should be present to help us with a framework of principles and actions which should be independent of personal intention and desire.

This theory is introduced by Immanuel Kant in 1788.
