You should be thorough with the tables (up to 25), the value of squares (up to 30), the value of cubes (up to 15), and tricks involving faster calculations involving addition, subtraction multiplication, division, square roots, and cube roots.

 Read newspapers or online magazines daily: As far as the English and General Science section is concerned, you should develop a daily habit of reading newspaper material or online magazines which will not only improve your vocabulary, Reading ability and grammatical knowledge but also you will stay updated with the latest updates related to Current Affairs.

 Cover all the basic concepts: If you want to crack any SSC exam, then you need to have good command over all the subjects that are asked in the exam – English, Quant, Reasoning, and General Awareness. Your first and foremost job should be to cover the entire syllabus of all these subjects without leaving any topic. Prepare each section sincerely and try to attain a good overall score. Try to finish all the chapters of all the subjects thoroughly first.
