Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Adverb, Preposition, Conjunction, and Interjection are the various forms of terms. TYPES OF CONJUNCTION

 

Coordinate Conjunctions: –are used to join clauses/words of equal rank.

E.g. Ram is rich and happy.

He came to meet me but I was not at home.

He is neither my friend nor my relative.


Sub-ordinate Conjunctions: – are used to join clauses/words of unequal rank.

E.g. She came because I called her.

Though he is great, he is humble.


Correlative Conjunctions: – are conjunctions that are used in pairs.

E.g. She is both glamorous and intelligent.

He is either a doctor or a surgeon.


Compound Conjunctions: – are the groups of words that are used to connect phrases/clauses.

E.g. He applied for a job in order to help his parents.

 

As soon as he reaches, I will inform you.
