Here we are trying to explain Tenses as per CBSE Class 10 Syllabus. Let’s Start:
Tenses
Tenses are the form of a verb which shows the time of an action and its degree of completeness. So, we can say Tenses refer to the time in which an action is taking place.
Uses
  1. Habituated Action: -To express habit or daily routine we use words like always, never, seldom, often, sometimes, daily, every day, every week, every month, once a week, twice a week.
  2. General truth: -To express the general truths of permanent truth.
  3. Present Moment: -To express actions happening at present.
  4. Near Future: -To express actions to happen in near future.
  5. Quotation
  6. Narrate Past Event
  7. Exclamatory Sentence
  8. Running Commentaries
  9. To express sub-adverb clause when the principal clause contains Future Indefinite Tense.
  • a.  If the school bus comes, I shall board it.
  1. To start Imperative Sentences
  • a.  Never tell a lie

Bhakti Movement NCERT Class 12 History The Bhakti movement was an effort to achieve salvation and emancipation by devotion to God. In Hindi, the word bhakti refers to fervent devotion to God.
