What is the Indian Accounting Standards?

Indian Accounting Standard (IndAS) is the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) converged standard issues by the Central Government of India under the supervision and control of Accounting Standard Board (ASB) of ICAI and in consultation with National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standard. The IndAS are named and numbered in the same way as the corresponding Indian Accounting Standard.
