The skeletal system includes more than just bones, it also includes tendons, ligaments, and cartilage, skeletal system provides structural support for the human body and protects our organs.

The Skeletal System is made up of bones and joints. It provides support to our body and allows us to move. Skeleton protects other organs of the body, for example, the skull protects the brain, the rib cage protects the heart and lungs.
